The IU Platform product uses both the notification area on the lock screen and also the presence of the home screen on a user's smartphone to provide access to targeted and relevant advertisements and communications that are easily engaged and also easily dismissed by the user. The consumers' experience is delivered through a native container that is preloaded by the OEM or operator or also available as an SDK for developers, but is otherwise not directly accessible by the end-user unless content is pushed by the IU Cloud. That content is distributed to specific target devices or groups of targeted devices (campaign envelope) with the goal of maximizing consumer relevance and, thereby, providing impressive conversion. The IU Platform allows for complete customization of both the content and the content interaction by the marketer or advertiser. Actions can include opening a webpage or application or even installing an application directly onto the user's device.
